Streamline Your Cocoon Harvest

Take the guesswork out of cocoon harvesting! The Cocoon Finder is the ideal tool to quickly identify which reeds are filled with cocoons and which are empty and ready for reuse.

How It Works

  1. Insert the Cocoon Finder into the open end of a reed.
  2. Check for Green:
    • Green visible through the reed? It likely contains cocoons ready for harvesting.
    • No green? The reed is likely empty and reusable for next season.

Note: Some reeds may have inner linings that resemble cocoons. To confirm, gently push the Cocoon Finder further into the reed. A hard “stop” indicates either the last cocoon's mud wall or the reed's natural node.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping: During normal operations (excluding weekends & holidays), orders received before 11 a.m. CT will be shipped same day and orders received after 11 a.m. CT will almost always be shipped by the next business day unless otherwise indicted on the order or the item is currently on backorder or out of stock in which case the customer will be notified of substitutions available or an estimated time that the product will be back in stock and shipped once it is in stock. Bulky items may have additional surcharge and not qualify for any free shipping promotions. Shipping estimates most likely do not include the day of shipping or weekend days. Please refer to the shipping provider you selected for your order for more details.

USPS SHIPMENTS: Due to excessive frequency of delays, misdeliveries, and lost packages, we DO NOT recommend using USPS for orders over $100. If USPS is selected, please understand that any lost or delayed shipments will be limited to the carrier’s maximum liability of $100 per package.

Returns & Refunds: Returns for a full refund will be accepted within 30 days of original purchase date as long as products are in exact same BRAND NEW condition that they were purchased in. Any opened, partially used or damaged products will not be allowed to be returned or qualify for any refund. After 30 days refunds will be accepted for a store credit as long as they meet condition requirements stated above. Return shipping is not included in purchase.
