Two things from the same world. Sunflowers grow at the edge of a farmyard and roosters walk under them, so the flower and the bird belong to each other rather than being a bowl with an animal stuck on the side.
The colors are strong and deliberate. Gold basin, dark green stem, black bird with red and yellow. It is the loudest piece of this group and it is meant to be seen from a distance.
What Makes This Bird Bath Different
- A scene rather than a bowl with a figure on it. Roosters walk under sunflowers at the edge of a farmyard, so the two elements here explain each other. Most animal bird baths pair a creature with whatever pedestal was available, and the eye notices the mismatch even when it cannot name it. Here the bird and the flower come from the same place.
- Color that carries. Gold, deep green, black, red and yellow. This is not a piece that blends into planting, it is one that holds a position from across a lawn or a front yard.
- A petalled rim. The sunflower head forms the basin edge in overlapping petals, so the rim rises and falls. Wet feet grip that far better than a smooth stone circle.
- Keep the water shallow. Add a shallow layer of water and keep it below the rim. Refresh it regularly.
A front yard, a patio, a path edge, anywhere it will be seen rather than come upon. This one is loud enough to hold its own on paving, though it looks best with some green nearby. 23 inches is a safe height for birds, with open ground on the approach and cover within a short flight.

Setup, Care, and Warranty
Setup and placement
Two pieces, no tools. The basin seats onto the stem.
Turn the rooster toward where people come from. He is on one side only and from behind it is a plain green stem.
Filling it
Add a shallow layer of water and keep it below the rim. Refresh the water regularly.
Keeping the color bright
Strong colors are hand painted and afternoon shade holds them at their best for longer. A soft brush and plain water every couple of weeks.
Winter
Drain the basin before the first hard frost and leave it empty or turned over. Check the petal recesses are clear when you drain it.
3-year warranty

How does it compare to the plain sunflower design?
That one is the flower on a leafed stem with no animal. This one adds a rooster against the stem and pushes the color further, so it reads as a farmyard scene rather than as a botanical piece.
Is it too bright for a border?
It is the loudest piece in this group, which is the point. It holds a position on a front yard or a patio. In a quiet planted border a plainer design will sit better.
Is the rooster cast on?
Cast as part of the piece against the stem. Nothing to knock off and nothing to fix.
Will birds actually use it?

USPS SHIPMENTS: Due to excessive frequency of delays, misdeliveries, and lost packages, we DO NOT recommend using USPS for orders over $100. If USPS is selected, please understand that any lost or delayed shipments will be limited to the carrier’s maximum liability of $100 per package.
Returns & Refunds: Returns for a full refund will be accepted within 30 days of original purchase date as long as products are in exact same BRAND NEW condition that they were purchased in. Any opened, partially used or damaged products will not be allowed to be returned or qualify for any refund. After 30 days refunds will be accepted for a store credit as long as they meet condition requirements stated above. Return shipping is not included in purchase.
